Ludwig van Beethoven’s courage, curiosity, and musicality were the inspirations for the international jazz competition called JazzBeet, where innovative young artists from around the world can experiment and become part of a global musical network.
Encouragement and promotion are tremendously important for young musicians just beginning their careers. For this reason, Jazzfest Bonn initiated JazzBeet, an international competition made possible through the support of BTHVN2020 and Deutsche Post DHL Group.
Over 30 bands from all over the world have applied for the competition in Bonn, six bands are invited to follow in Beethoven’s footsteps. The finalists of the competition will present themselves to the jury in public evaluation concerts on two evenings.
