The pianist Ramón Valle, born and raised in Cuba, enchants his listeners with enthusiasm, exhilarating rhythms, and emotional power. The 51-year-old artist, who lives  in the Netherlands since 1998, plays pure contemporary jazz that nevertheless still swings to the rhythms of his Cuban roots. Valle says, “I am a Cuban musician whose music falls into the ‘jazz’ category, but it touches many other genres as well. Sometimes I feel like a troubadour: I tell stories without using words.”
